This independent communication service transmits information and also educational programmes like Art Shows, Sports Shows or Environment Shows. That’s why this service is very important. We must have a communication service for all the subjects of a country, however, people must also be aware of the problems that happen near them. This is the only local television with an own satellite and the winner in 2005 for the best company in Radio and Television.

In the radio, there’re several rooms for interviewing of up to three people live. Those rooms are isolated with a special material that protects them from outside noise. Those studios have also a small division where everything is controlled by a technician that gives order to the pivot of the radio programmes, gets calls and selects a perfect person for that a specific issue. Some technicians work just in television and others just on radio, but others work in the both services.  The studio is divided by a wall with a huge window of glass that originally was used to communicate by body signs and it still is. L1 got a hundred of employees however, just 8 of them work full-time.

The preparation of the information is done always in the same place and is selected by the following categories: News, Administrative, Net, Sport and Commercial.

The radio has also weekly programmes that discuss subjects like medicine, sports, laws and so on and so on, as they have shows for all kind of music like rock or classical music. Answering to the question of a student, the guide told us that this radio is for everyone, specially for people between sixteen and thirty-five or forty years old.

The Internet and teletext is like TV and Radio, something very used in the Netherlands, specially Internet because it’s something easy and cheap. However, newspapers and journalists of the entire world are worried about this because they might suffer many losses. Daily, L1 has 26000 web visitors who consult their Internet site.

The Television is, for them, the most complex way to show information. Differently from our country, Netherlands has 10 National TV Channels.

The things that appear in our TV are controlled and watched in a control room that they call Reggie

L1 got also another studio in Venlo, a place situated in the north of Limburg.

This company, like several other ones, spends and gains money by exchanging information with other communication companies.

As we can see, the information about everything is daily diffused over the entire world. So it’s not surprising this information exchange functions also in our huge “country” usually known as Europe.
